Married!

We did it! Last Saturday, October 1, 2005 in Red Lodge, MT, Amy and I tied the knot. There was a lot of stress leading up to the wedding (logistics stress, not cold feet :) ) but it all was worth it. It was wonderful to have family and friends come from so far to celebrate with us.

We were originally quite nervous about the weather in Montana in early October. Well, we lucked out with a nice day and only a small breeze. The next day it was overcast and rainy, and the day after that, the lodge where we were married got a dusting of snow! Fortune has smiled upon us and we are excited for our new life together!

Thanks everyone for your love and support throughout!

And the Tuesday after your wedding the Red Lodge and Billings area received 10″ of very heavy wet snow. It set a record! WOW, you two had, and deservedly so, the last warm day of the year in Montana. You look wonderful in the autumn colors. I love you both!

Congratulations! I wish we could have made the trip — I’ve heard that the wedding and all the surrounding events were outstanding. If your travels ever take you to Memphis, please look us up.

    Your cousin,
