Saffie, Josh and I flew up to MT for the 4th of July weekend to give our parents some Saffie time and help Josh’s Grandma Ruby move into her new apartment.
At my parent’s house Saffie and my Mom had some fun with hats.
Grandpa Bill gave Saffie an impromptu ride in the driveway.
Saffie wore a nightgown my Aunt Elaine bought for my sister Emily when she was Saffie’s age all day to celebrate the 4th. Here she is hamming it up for the camera.
That morning while Ruby was being moved into her new place my Mom and I watched Saffie and Elsie. Other than a few disagreements on who was mama to the baby doll (note: always bring 1 baby per toddler on vacations) we had a great time.
This photo basically sums up Saffie and Elsie’s relationship. Saffie never runs out of hugs for Elsie and doesn’t really care if Elsie wants a hug. She’s going to get a hug and if that means pinning her down then so be it.
That afternoon we went to “the club” for a pool party where the girls got balloon animals and had their faces painted. Even now when Saffie sees a heart she points to her cheek or says cheek. Very cute.
Again with the hugs. Good thing Elsie is so patient with her!
It was a happy, happy 4th! And thanks again Sandy for giving Saffie a haircut!!

Love the stylish hats and the ride on the creeper. Saffie’s hugs are so sweet, hope she never grows out of her Elsie attachment. Glad to have your blog back…so nice to stay connected!
